Our Story
Hi, I am Mike Eivins and alongside my wife, Meredith Eivins, we are presidents of Echo Construction.
I began my interest in construction at a very young age by watching my grandpa, Earl, meticulously run his own local Colorado Springs construction company many years ago. At that time, my father was groomed to take over the company. Fortunately, he made the brave choice to protect our freedoms and joined the Air Force instead.
Now, they say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and my apple didn’t fall far from grandpa Earl’s…Growing up and seeing how my grandpa Earl worked, and the pride he took in each step of the construction process with the ultimate regard for the quality of the finished product has always affected me and made me strive for the same excellence.
As a union trained carpenter, I have many years of experience in construction of all kinds: from commercial construction to remodels to custom spaces. In recent years, we’ve grown Echo Construction in a full-service construction outlet. I am proud to have built a team of people based on three principles: Service, Respect and Skill.
We strive to make each customer a part of our Echo Construction family. There's something in a name…
Many years ago, as I decided to further my career in construction, I endlessly pondered what to call my company. During this time, we had a beautiful fur-baby girl named Echo. She was an energetic black Labrador Retriever who meant the world to us. She has since passed at the tender age of 15 but her memory will always live on in Echo Construction.
